What Causes A Recurring Itchy Rash On Stomach, Chest And Buttocks?
Hi, I have a five year old daughter who for the past few weeks keeps on coming up with an itchy rash when she wakes in the morning and than comes back in the evening. During the day it completely disappears. It becomes very itchy and as soon as she scratches or gets in warm water becomes very red. There appears to be welts after she scratches. It is mainly on her bottom, stomach, chest, back of neck and under arms. She bathes once a day in tepid water and I moisturise her morning and night. I dress her in 100% cotton clothes thinking that it might help. Just as I think I am getting somewhere with it, it comes back worse. It is a daily occurence. We have two new dogs (and 2 older ones) that live inside but they are flea treated and I vacuum couches, carpets and beds regularly. Would really like your opinion. Thanks
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern for your daughter, this could be autoimmune response and this could be self limiting just wait for some time and this would be fine, if the symptoms persist then this can be well managed with "Diphenhydramine" hope this information helps, take care.
