What Causes A Red Bald Spot On The Scalp?

I had a big pimple on the top of my head. Pop it . It had lots of green puss. I put hydrogen peroxide on it. It heal good but a few days later I have a penny size bald spot and it is red. And on the other size of my head no bald spot but a red spot . I am 18 yrs. Old what is going on?
