What Causes A Red Bruise Like Spot On The Arm?
Hi...I have dark red bruise like places on my arms. Whenever I bump into anything I get a spot. I have COPD and use a portable O 2 tank when I go out. My tank is in a case and it falls off my shoulder and I get a bruise. Sometime the skin even tears. I have heard them called blood bruises or skin tears. They don t hurt unless torn I use antibiotic cream and bandage when torn what is it?

This can be capillary bleeding. It is better to consult a dermatologist and do a clinical examination of that lesion. You may need skin biopsy.
