What Causes A Red Raised Rash In The Armpit?

hi my name s kelly my husband went to the dr because e had a rash under his arm and they game him clotrimazole and betmethasone hes been using it for about a week in a half and today he woke up and it looks horrible every where he has been putting is really red and raised it looks almost like poison oak

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Since the rash is not responding (and actually worsening) to the topical medication, he may need oral medication. Bethamethasone is a good steroid cream, if he did not respond to this then oral is the next option.

He likely needs a short course of oral steroids along with anti fungal medication.

His doctor may also need to consider a complete blood count as well.
