What Causes A Red Rash On The Vaginal Area After Passing Kidney Stone?

I am a 40 year old female that was seen in the ED for kidney stone 2mm ( I had a CT scan to confirm)about 1 week ago. I was given Morphine and Zofran while at the ED. I am currently on Effexor and Adderall. I took 1 Percocet and Zofran the day I was discharged from ED and sent home where I later the same evening passed the stone. 3 days later I have a red rash on my vaginal area and partially on my inner thighs. Could this be any kind of reaction to medication? Im in pain and my skin down there is red and peeling

Hi,

Dermatologic conditions are hard to discuss without seeing them. Common rashes are yeast, skin infections with staph (potentially serious) local allergy or just physical scraping. It's pretty easy to distinguish which it is if one is there and hard by description.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
