What Causes A Red Thin Rash On The Penis Shaft?
I have a thin, red rash (almost like a vein) that is on the bottom shaft of my penis. It s roughly 2 to 2.5in long and connects to a bump at the underside of my penis right before the head. It does not itch or burn. No pus comes from it and besides the color red, there is no discoloration. I ve taken a dose of azithromycin for a Chlamydia infection 7 days ago. Will this rash go away? Is this rash associated with Chlamydia?

Noted your history of red thin rash on shaft after taking Azithromycin for Chlamydia infection, no pus no itching and so on.
Since this is a thin red rash just like a vein the chances are that it is really a vein or so.
Or can be due to some thread that got pulled over it.
Well, do not worry, it can be due to Chlamydia also and you are already taking a proper treatment.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult A dermatologist if the problem persists for proper diagnosis and management.
Till then you can clean the area with Liquid Povidone Iodine.
Avoid condom and sexual activity.
Do not apply any ointment.
Keep the area ventilated to avoid humidity.
Use loose clothes.
Further management as would be advised by the Dermatologist.
