What Causes A Scar Near The Eye After A Cataract Surgery?
I had cataract surgery 4 months ago and have had a vertical line to the left side of my eye ever since. Is there anything that can be done to correct that? I am 74 years old. My doctor said he couldn t do anything because I am too old and he was afraid it would mess up the lens he put in. Please advise.

It could be laser or cautery injury. Generally it will heal by itself with time. It the lesion persists for long, better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
