What Causes A Sharp Pain In Eye With Severe Headache?

I woke up with a sharp pain in my right eye coupled with a really bad headache. 12 hours later, out of no where a blind spot appears in my left eye. There is nothing in the eye to be removed. I have recently been having blurriness causing me to lay my head down ot pull over while driving but it clears in a couple of minutes. PLease adv. Thanks, Katrice Ammons
