What Causes A Sharp Pain On The Right Side Of The Throat?

for 8 days i have been having sharp pains in the right side of my troat which has now moved to the right side. I have been sweating immensly night is worse, ticklish chough with pain. i do not take prescription medicines. paraceatamols and high does of vitimin c. I feel weak and tired. please help. thank you sara

I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely tonsillitis primarily.But a formation of abscess retropharyngeal or parapharyngeal is suspected in your case.An examination with ENT specialist will be needed to rule out that.Antibiotics and may be an incision and drainage will be required if abscess is formed.Hope this may help you.
