What Causes A Sharp Shooting Pain In Head?

Hi, I've noticed strange sharp shooting pains in the back of my head, they are toward the right but closer to the middle, and they usually last about 2-15 seconds. I've noticed them frequently throughout my life. When I was younger they occurred more toward the center of my head but still toward the right.

hi.
These type of pains are due to pinched / entrapped nerves.
This is not a serious problem but does irritate a lot, particularly when the neck muscles go into spasm.
