What Causes A Shooting Pain On The Right Side Of Mons Pubis?
i have pain on the right side of my mons pubis. more of a shooting pain, i can t lift my right leg without a horrible shooting pain in that area. about an inch up from the split of my vagina. i can t even walk normal. the pain came out of no where, idk what to do
Hi, Thanks for using healthcaremagic. I have gone through your query.
Shooting pain over the mons pubis is most commonly associated with pregnancy especially during early stages,You may also difficulty in walking or climbing stairs. Other causes for mons pubiss pain are trauma to pelvis resulting in minor fractures or contusion. STDs(sexually transmitted disease) and local infections also cause this.
Nothing to worry about it, consult a gynecologist and get a pregnancy test done.Rule out fractures and infections. In most cases the problem subside itself and you will be recovered soon.
Hope this information helps.
Regards. Dr.Shinas Hussain
