What Causes A Shoulder Blade Bruise With Redness?

I noticed this odd red mark, bruise looking thing on my right shoulder blade last night. Should I be worried? I don't want it to be a cancer or anything, but I really have no idea. It doesn't hurt, its just there, and I'm worried. Please help me...
