My son had a rash that wrapped around his ankles after fishing at a pond. I treated with Calamine Spray....it moved to the top of his feet. Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,

As per your case history, you are having viral exanthem. My treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
