What Causes A Small Blood Filled Blister On The Torso?

I was checking on myself in the mirror and a mole that was normally small and dismissive around my lateral torso has caught my eye. It s not asymmetrical but it looks engorged with blood and looks like it has a pin sized whole on it. I m more concerned that it is big enough for me to notice it now.

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of small blood filled blister on the torso which is mainly due to angioedema and could be contact dermatitis.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply over the counter antibiotics cream and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain. Maintain complete hygiene. Avoid itching and pricking rashes. You should Consult dermatologist if condition doesn't get well. Doctor may prescribe antibacterial or antifungal depending upon the diagnosis .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
