What Causes A Small Bump On The Back Of The Head?

Hello, I hit the back of my head on the corner of my dresser while I was sleeping two days ago, it cut my head open, but there was not much blood, I have a little bump on the back of my head, now today about an hour ago, I started getting a headache but it went away, and then I wrestled my girlfriend and my headache came back full force, mostly on the left side of my head, granted I also didn t drink a lot of water today. But I m wondering if I should go to the doctors

With the history of intermittent headache, it may be best to see your doctor for an assessment and treatment.

Though it is quite possible that there is no underlying issues/damage to the brain, this still needs to be ruled out by examination and imaging according to the criteria- New Orleans Criteria for minor head injury.

According to this set of criteria- presence of headache or vomiting or seizure or drug/alcohol use at the time or memory loss or age over 60, requires CT.
