What Causes A Small Lump On Lower Back Leading To Pain?

Hi, Ive been having really bad pain by my lower tail bone, no redness, no puss, It was just a small lump and now it feels like the size of a baseball on the inside, can barely notice it by looking at it, have to feel it. it is hard and hurts to do sit, walk do anything. Have not sat on anything hard for long periods of time. It was the size about the size of a grape at first. Pain has been getting excruciating, hot baths do not help. nor is anything coming out. Does anyone know what this is?

I really appreciate your concern, chances of lymph node inflammation is very likely and this need to be kept under observation because it may turn into abscess formation, till then "Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day" can be tried, hope this information helps, take care.
