Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a small lump under my right eye, right on my cheekbone. At first I thought maybe I just bumped myself and it was a bruise but it has not gone away in 3 months time; in fact, it has grown. It is about 3mm in diameter and dry skin above and around it, but not on it. Does this describe a cyst?
As per your query you have bump under your eye . Well there can be many reason for bump under your eye like Milia , Syringoma or Xanthelasma . There is also a possibility that the bump under eye is just a pimple which come and go again and again . I would suggest you to consult ophthalmologist for proper examination . Doctor will examine it physically or take biopsy . Doctor may prescribe retinoids , steroid ointment or recommend techniques like laser therapy , cauterization or dermabrassion . Doctor may also refer you to dermatologist . For now apply cold compresses , keep you skin clean and exfoliate once a week .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
