What Causes A Small Painful Lump In Chest?

hello I am a 20 yo female. i noticed a small lump in the center of my chest, on the left side of the sternum. i noticed it recently, i noticed that the left and right side are asymmetrical, but i don t know for how long it s been there. it hurts sometimes when i press it. i m going to see a doctor day after tomorrow but i m really worried now.

Dear Madam,thank you for your consultation.as the lump which is located on the left side of sternum is painful when you press it that means it has a high chance of because of some infection.so you don't need to worry much and just see the doctor as per your schedule.I sincerely hope you will be cured of that lump with proper treatment by your doctor.my best wishes.thank you.
