What Causes A Small, Soft And Painless Lump Inside Vein?

I ve had a small, soft, painless lump (maybe size of dime or a bit larger) for about 9 or 10 months. I got it checked because people kept bringing it to my attention. Been on antibiotics a couple of time during for issue unrelated. Dr says lymph nodes slightly swollen and lump appears to be inside vein. She has requested better ultrasound before telling me. Now I m a bit worried. Can you give me an Adela about what it could be? (Chest X-Rays were clear).

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a swollen lymph node. It is usually caused by the presence of an infection in the system. I suggest to do an ultrasound to check for further information and decide for proper treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
