What Causes A Small Yellowish Bump Inside The Labia?

Hi. I have a very small, appears to be pussy or yellow ish colored, bump on in inside of my labia. It s not really risen and doesn t look pop able. There is only one and it s very small. Thinking it may be an ingrown hair. Doesn t look like an STD. It is a little itchy and sore. I put a little Neosporin on it and I m hoping it will go away by tomorrow. Any suggestion on what it could be? Never had anything like it.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably it will be a genital wart. Other possibilities like molluscum infection also be ruled out. Consult a gynecologist and get evaluated. A per vaginal examination is required to make a diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
