What Causes A Soft Lump On The Waist?
hello Dr. Andrew, I came to the site cause I just noticed an odd soft lump on my beltline, more accurately where the buckle sometimes rests on my skin, I know it s not likely to be serious, but I would rather play it safe, I did try to pop it incase it might have been a zit (which I have had in that area before) but it would only make my skin hurt and break a little (sorta like if you pinched an elderly person) i m only in my mid 20 s and this is the first time I ve seen this, any suggestions?

It could be a benign (non cancerous) lump like lipoma or hernia. Consult a general surgeon and plan for an ultrasound scan.
