What Causes A Soft Movable Lump On Neck Above Collar Bone?

A week ago my 30 year old daughter discovered a small marble size soft movable lump on the left side of neck above collar bone. A few days ago another smaller one was discovered near the other. Today she saw a doctor who took blood test and scheduled an Ultrasound. Her little fan has had coughs and viruses for the past month. She has a family of four and most have Allergies. She has no fever with these lumps and no night sweats and is not loosing weight. Still, I am concerned about the possibility of something more serious looming. What is the likeliness of this turning bad?

Hello There

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that it can be general lymph node swelling due to fever or can be tubercular or malignant. Diagnostic evaluation can direct towards the treatment. Revert back with USG report

Hopefully this information will guide you properly.

Kind Regards
Dr Bhanu Partap
