What Causes A Soft Skin Flap Growth On The Tonsil?
Hello, my question is regarding a skin flap that has gradually grown on my left tonsil over the past 8 months, it is soft, uniform in colour (a lighter pink than the surrounding tissue), does not cause any discomfort or pain, and does not appear to discharge any fluid.

Recurrent inflammation of tonsils may cause an increase of the tonsil size, or, in some cases, folding of the mucosa. In rare cases, if the tonsil or the flap is increased rapidly in size, cancer of the tonsils should be excluded.I suggest you see an ENT Doctor and to discuss with him about these issues.
