What Causes A Sore Lump In The Ear?

I have a bump in my left side ear; it is above the hole that you hear out of. It appeared a few days ago and I have no idea how it got there. It s really sore; its not affecting my hearing or anything it just really hurts when I touch it. I want to see if I can pop it, but the bump is too hard. I don t know what to do, help? Kaila.

Hi,
It seems that you might be having sebaceous cyst on external ear giving this trouble.
If there is no infection, nothing can be done.
If there is infection or size increases, consult surgeon and get excised with sac.
Ok and take care.
