What Causes A Sore Lump On The Testicle?

My husband has a cyst like spot between his legs. Beside his testicles. It is the size of a nickel and enlarged. It is very sore and is oozing liquid. Not sure what to do. This is the second time. The first being last year I believe. A dr gave him medicine to put on it but what ever it was it broke him out all over his body. He landed in the hospital. He probably was allergic to the medication. What could the oozing bump be. Last time the oozing was sooooo bad it would run down his leg. They did not diagnoses the spot. In the hospital they gave antibiotics.

Mostly it can due to infection of some kind.
Kindly get to attention when the sore/cyst starts to erupt.
It's hard to say more unless it is seen.
Also mention colour of discharge from cyst.
