Hi,

As per your query, you have symptoms of sore throat and fever which are due to bacterial infection leading to strep throat and it is due to poor immunity of your body.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you avoid cold carbonated beverages. You should take antihistamines and antibiotic combination as an infection is present. Do warm saline gargles 3 to 4 times a day. Take ibuprofen. Take soft foods to avoid irritation to the throat. Throat lozenges are helpful. Drink lukewarm water throughout the day as it can provide relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
