What Causes A Stroke Along With Blurred Vision?

I have a friend that just experienced a stroke in prison and is scared, so he asked me to find out some answers for him. What affect does caffeine have on a stroke, before and after. What affect does heartburn have on the heart and or stroke? Why is his vision blurred before and after the stroke and what can he do to bring his vision back? Why does he still have numbness and tingling in his arm and fingers (before and now after his stroke) To what degree is what is called a brain rewiring and how does it work.
