What Causes A Sudden Faint Feeling?
Hi, I was at work, Do tech support on computers. I ended up going home because I was feeling faint. Heart wasn't racing or nothing. It's hard to explain, but it was like I had a thought cycling over and over again. Trying to remember what the heck it was, whatever it was it's like it went out one of my ears.

In short: Any thing which causes decrease in blood supply to the brain can cause dizziness/faint feeling
Explanation: You have not mentioned your age and sex. As such there are many reasons for faint feeling. So dont search for this in the net, instead visit a doctor and go for infestigations like ECG, CBC and Urine routine to rule our any disease which could have caused this.
Your doctor can definitely help you after physical examnation with some battery of tests for this.

Such type of faintness , after prolong work may be due to these reasons , these include:
1 Hypoglycemia , as due to prolong sitting ,sometimes the level of glucose decreases , hence there develop faintness . Glucose powder dissolve in water and drink , you will relief.
For diagnosis confirmation get in blood for sugar level.
2 The next reason of such symptoms may be due to postural hypotension due to sudden wake up . So in routine get in blood pressure examination for confirmation.
3 Anemia may be the another reason . Get in blood for hemoglobin examination.
However , there are so many other reasons as Mineire's disease , extra exertion etc.
Since this is first time , so ignore it , if recurs then consult a physician and get his opinion.
