What Causes A Sudden Fainting Spell Upon Exposure To Sunlight?

hi, I am 70 years old, went tent camping with a 18 year old woman...I got over heated and passed out during the night, i pooped myself and pee d myself, and woke up 2 hours later covered in ants...i cleaned up and went to the hospital, they said I had heat stroke symptoms, and heart symptoms...I am concerned about what they found in the calf of both legs, i have collasped mustle, looks like i had a belt on my calf,,they told me it was heart related,,,,Is it heart related?

Hi,

I am sorry for the episode you had during the night.

As you've been exposed to heat, at your age, passing out during the night was due to heat stroke.

During the episode, your heart and other internal organs did not work properly explaining the changes you noted on your body.

Please keep well hydrated. Drink plenty of water with oral rehydration salt. Please ask to have a complete cardiac check up to see the changes: ECG, echocardiogram.

Avoid exposure to heat especially when there is high temperature outside.
