What Causes A Sudden Onset Of Hand Swelling?
My husband s left hand started to swell and turn red yesterday morning. There s a red spot in the palm of his hand. He said he s not been biten and there s no apparent bite. His fingers have swelled and he said it s painful--feels like someone stepped on his hand. Any idea what could cause that?

Sudden swelling with pain and a red spot is suggestive of insect bite. I suggest you to visit the nearest physician so that he/she can examine it properly for further management.
In the meantime, he can take some analgesic and anti-inflammatory & anti allergic drug like Zerodol P and Avil 1 tab for relieving the symptoms to some extent.
