For sudden outbreak of itchy rash on lower back and upper thigh you can take some antibiotic mostly cefadroxyl or doxycycline after an expert opinion along with avil or cetrizine for severe itching and redness. You can use betnovate-c cream or candid-b powder for local application. If still the itching or redness persists than you can take some steroids as suggested by your doctor.
