What Causes A Sudden Unusual Choking Sensation At The Back Of The Throat?

I just woke up suddenly with what seemed like a very odd, wash of something in the back of my throat. It happened so suddenly & was almost choking. I immediately began to cough & had to get out of bed to get some water. I sprayed my threat with throat spray because there was a burning sensation.

May be your suffering from GERD with regurgitation of stomach contents causes irritation of pharynx and cause burning sensation. If they enter into wind tube (trachea) causes cloaking.


Avoid fatty spicy meal at night
Head end little elevation.
Tab. Nexium before breakfast.
If symptoms not improved consult your doctor.
