What causes a sudden urge to urinate. Over the past year I have suddenly felt that I need to urinate and have struggled to get to the bathroom. At times it feels as if I have had some urine leakage but my underwear was not wet. My stream is considerably weaker and i can no longer push out urine like I used to?

hello,
i can understand your concern. you havent mentioned your age. based on your symptoms, i assume you to be a 50 some male.
you seem to be having a prostatic enlargement. this is quite common in males who cross 50. frequency and urgency are also associated with prostatic enlargement. i would suggest you to get an ultrasound abdomen, complete urine examination and serum psa levels done.
this will help us in zeroing on the cause.
