What Causes A Swollen Black Spot On The Arm?

Yesterday I was in a wooded area but in water, like a gorge I believe. I went home and saw black on my arm but when I tried to whip it off I noticed it looks like a bite of some sort. It is slightly puffed up around the black dot and I can t get the black off. Any ideas?

It varies from injury to scar to bite. Notice if fever comes, then you might visit a physician. Otherwise, wait for a few days, it will get off by itself.
