What Causes A Swollen Bump On The Head After An Injury?
This past Saturday I fell face first hitting the top of my head causing scratches and now on my right temple side I m swollen and have a bump. As a nurse were the first to say we re ok no need to be seen . I was drinking basically lost my balance then fell to sleep cause of being buzzed. I m very tender in that spot and I do have headaches

Based on the history you have shared, it can be soft tissue inflammation after trauma due to a collection of inflammatory cells or tissue edema which trickles down to dependent parts. Cold compression and anti-inflammatory drugs like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen can be used.
