What Causes A Swollen Lymph Node To The Right Of The Neck?

I have swollen lymph in my neck on the right side and that is the side that I broke my collar bone 4 years ago. I do not have an ear infection or sorethroat but I was straining my neck cutting up lots of meat to put in the freezer can this be from straining too long?

Thanks for the query..

Swollen lymph nodes in neck are commonly seen due to infection in the near or distant areas of body..

If they are swollen since long and are hard and non mobile then it can also be due to lymphoma formation..

So my suggestion is to consult an Emergency room and get evaluated and a thorough clinical examination can be done..

If it is suspected to be infection then a course of antibiotics can be advised..
If there is a doubt then FNAC/Biopsy can be done for further confirmation and treatment can be planned accordingly..
