What Causes A Tingling Sensation From Teeth To Eyes?
At 7pm I started to get a tingling from my teeth to my eyes ( front of face ) it has happened more than 3 times already and its still going on. ( i am 26 yrs old, female) Took for two weeks an intibiotic for an infection in my gums. ( but I have no pain there..) this feeling has been present before but very briefly..now its very present...what is it?
As per your complain tingling sensation of gums can be due to infection of gums and has a less chance for a gum infection to cause tingling sensation reaching to eyes.
Other reason which can cause tingling of gums till the eyes can be Sinus infection..( MAXILLARY SINUSITIS). Any infection in the sinus known as Sinusitis can lead to tingling sensation of gums ,teeth front of face till the eyes.. You can also feel undue pressure on the face as well as pain.
One more reason that can cause the following symptoms is nerve paresthesia caused by some injury or trauma on face or some deep seated infection..
I would suggest you to consult an oral pathologist and get evaluated for the exact cause of the problem and get necessary investigations done so as to get correct diagnosis and treatment.
Hope your query is solved..
