What Causes A Wart Like Sore On My Foot?

Hello! My foot seems to have some sort of sore on it. My question is if it is a wart, would it hurt? Or I might of stepped on a piece of glass recently would that cause it to be hard like a wart and hurt. It is white in colour, smaller then the size of a dime and hurts when I step on it

Hello and welcome to HCM,
A wart like lesion on foot, white in color, hurts when stepping on it is suggestive of a corn.
A corn is formed by deposition of keratin on the skin of feet.
When present on pressure points, it is painful.

Corn is treated by topical application of keratolytic cream which softens the hard keratin on the surface and thus reduces the pain.

You can consult your primary health care provider for clinical assessment and thus management.

Thanks and take care
