What Causes A Watery Vaginal Discharge After Childbirth?

i have a vaginal discharge that is white/clear in colour it does not smell, itch an its not sore, it is watery/stringy. i gave birth 11 weeks ago and had to have stitches because i tore the doctor gave me some external cream to use just over a week ago it has thinned out a little but is still quite heavy can you help?
