What Causes A White Bump On The Nipple?

I am a 47 year old caucasian female. I have small bump on my right nipple that is white. It almost looks like a clogged pore. It s dry and rough. It won t go away. It s been there for awhile but it seems more pronounced. I don t know if I need to talk to a dermatologist or a gynocologist. Or, not worry about it? What do you think?
