What Causes A White Spot On Knee With Dark Circle Around It?
I went on a Caribbean cruise last December and when I got up one morning I saw a spot on the side of my knee and it look like a chemical burn. I assumed that the bed sheets were washed with bleach and since I have allergies/asthma that it was most likely a reaction. Now 7 months later, the spot is white but it has a dark circle around it. If I press on the white spot, it s sore, just like a bruise. The dark circle seems to be larger than before. Should I be concerned and if so, what could it be? Thanks. Sue

Hi it is possible it is a fungal spot. Try an anti fungal cream with steroid in it. If no improvement, show a deramatologist--regards
