What Causes Abdominal Bloating After A Cesarean Section?
I received a cesarean section with my daughter who is now 11 years and ever since then i have stomach problems. I get very bloated and my stomach sometimes pulsate and feel very queasy it also make a lot of sounds. Sometimes I can hear as if water is running inside.
Hello, Thanks for the query. Your t problems related to abdomen are mostly are due either acid peptic disease and indigestion. The old cesarean section has absolutely no relation to that. In CS uterus is operated, which is in the lower part of the abdomen. The problems being described are in relation to gastrointestinal tract. These could be due to excess acid secretion, gaseousness and indigestion. My suggestion is please take drugs like Omeprazole 20 mg once a day on empty stomach, then take your morning food (breakfast). Then also take some pancreatic enzyme preparations which will help the digestive process. Plus take small and frequent meals, instead of 3 major ones, take 4 to 5 small ones in a day. Do some regular exercise, including those for abdominal muscles. Avoid alcohol and smoking and high fat as well as too much of sugary foods. These measures should help. Thanks
