What Causes Abdominal Bloating After Insertion Nuva Ring?

I stopped the Nuva Ring about 3 weeks ago.All of a sudden I feel bloated and like I have gained at least 5 pounds.Is this bloating and weight gain due to going off the Nuva Ring?I plan to get back on it next week once my insurance kicks in again.Will the bloating and weight gain go away once I m back on it?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Nuvaring contains hormones estrogen and progesterone. Progesterone leads to weight gain, abdominal bloating and breast engorgement.
These symptoms wane off once you are off the ring.
