What Causes Abdominal Bloating Along With Black Coloured Stools?

I am 54 yr old female that has had explosive stools for one week now. I took Pepto a couple days ago and now my stool is black. Stomach is super bloated. I am not eating much due to it running right thru me. Should I be concerned it let it run its course? Thanks

Hello,

Taking Pepto-Bismol makes you have diarrhoea and black stools. It us temporary change. It may need some days to get back to normal. The black will disappear in some days and also diarrhoea will soon stop.
