What Causes Abdominal Bloating Along With Nausea And Diarrhea?
HELLO DOCTORS, I40 YEARS OLD FEMALE, I HAVE A QUESTION, IS BEEN MAYBE ONE WEEK OR SO SINCE I HAVE THE FOLLOWING SYMPTOM MY MOUTH FEELS LIKE I LICK 10 PENNIES MY STOMACH FEELS BLOTED ( gas ) I HAVE SO MUCH NAUSEA AFTER MEALS CONSTIPATION OR DIARRHEA
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM The symptoms you describe sound like gastroenteritis.It could be caused by a number of conditions or diseases: -Bacterial infection -Viral infection -parasitic infection -Medications -Food poisoning -Artificial sweeteners -Other digestive conditions like inflammatory bowel diseases -Lactose/fructose intolerance I will suggest you suggest you see the Doctor to investigate the cause of your symptoms.Tests like full blood count, stool exam/culture may be necessary.The treatment of your condition will entail treating the underlying cause and correcting electrolyte imbalances caused by your condition.You may however try the following: *Take oral rehydration salt to replenish fluids and ions lost *Take zinc tablets *Take an anti-diarrrheal like imodium if symptoms are watery stools are too frequent Depending on the underlying cause, your Doctor may prescribe more objective medications.
