What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Belching Upon Intake Of Saxenda?

I just started saxenda. I have had three doses of 0.6 mg these past three days. I now have foul taste in my mouth, excessive belching, bloating, flatulence, diarrhea, and mild abdominal pain located directly below my sternum and above my umbilical. I had pancreatitis three years ago. I don't have the excessive sweating I experienced with the pancreatitis. My PCP is out of town. Opinion?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are wondering if abdominal bloating and belching upon intake of Saxenda . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to certain reasons like irritable bowel syndrome , acid reflux disease , gastric and duodenal ulcers , celiac disease but in your case the symptoms are probably due to side effects of Saxenda as it is known to cause abdominal disturbance . I would suggest you to consult doctor who prescribe this medicine . Doctor may alter the dose or prescribe substitute . Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist for gastric problem . For now take probiotics food like yogurt and do light exercises like walking .
