What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Blood In Stool?

my 46 yr old daughter had been having bloating for a few days. it stopped, but today when she had a bowel movement, there was pink on the tissue. a few minute later, she expelled some gas, while on the toilet, and again noticed a small amount of pink on the tissue. This time however, she noticed in the water there were two pieces of something that shr thinks was skin.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear!
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns!
Thank you for sharing them on healthcaremagic.

Regarding your concerns you are describing above I strongly doubt a bowel disease (small intestine or gross intestine). The origin of this condition may be a proper disease or inflammation of the gut, as well as a food related condition or infective origin.
I would like to know if this is the first time she suffers from these symptoms or they are showed more then one time. Has she had fever, weight loss or something else? If it's just a common infective or food malabsorption it can be easily cured by simple medication prescribed by your family doctor.

But if these symptoms last more than expected, or they don't go away with the medication I would recommend you go through further specific examinations such as colonoscopy for a better evaluation of the pathology.
I hope this answer was helpful to you!

Please kindly rate it as helpful and write a short review about your experience with me! I would appreciate that a lot.
Thank you and best regards!
