What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Blood In Stool?

I have a soar on my anus. I have recently been feeling very bloated and feel as though every time I feel a bowel movement; it is suddenly very urgent and most of the time is only gas. I have had one bloody stool, and have found after that stool, that i have a soar that is pertruding and is difficult to wipe clean after a bowel movement. The gas and sudden bathroom emergencies are becoming more frequent where they are only gas.

Hi, thanks for your query at Healthcare Magic.

Unfortunately, the information you provide is not enough. Normal bowel movements should not bleed. When bleeding, keep in mind:
- Does the blood come out after a bowel movement? Dripping?
- How much the estimate volume of blood coming out?
- Does blood come out together with stool?
- Is it accompanied by abdominal pain?
- Do you feel difficulty defecating?
- Do you feel diarrhea?

These questions need to be answered because defecation with blood can be a sign of several types of diseases, such as:
1. Infection (dysentery), accompanied by diarrhea, abdominal pain and sometimes fever and blood usually come out together with stools.
2. hemorrhoids (hemorrhoid), blood out after the defecation, there is difficulty defecating, blood often just drip, and can be found a lump that come out of the anus.
3. Colorectal cancer, blood usually comes out in moderate amounts and accompanied by pain during bowel movements, can be accompanied by diarrhea or stool in the form of small.

So, right now, I suggest you to meet the gastroenterologist to find the right diagnosis. The doctor may will do some examinations like colonoscopy or ultrasound (USG). The therapy will be adjusted by the results.

Take care.
