Hi thanks for asking question. For acid reflux diasease omeprazole is effective. But you have constipation as part of IBS which can treated by omeprazole.For which stool softener may needed. For constipation follow below instructions. -more water -more fruits - green leaf veg taken more - regular exercise -avoid smoke - fiber containing diet like wheat , whole grain , apple , banana etc. - chamomile in tea useful. - fiber supplement can taken. For irritable bowel syndrome lubiprostone like specific drug can be taken. But if your symsymptoms increasing then USG and endoscopy done to rule out other inflammatory condition with subsequent biopsy if suspicion area.Malignancy also will be rule out from endoscopy.
