Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Is it the first time since Minerva insertion? Have you been passing any blood clots? Is the mucous having bad odour?
Possible causes are pelvic inflammatory disease, cervical polyps, erosion, DUB, fibroids or STDs etc. Get the discharge examined for microscopy and culture.
I have only mentioned the possible causes. However, to know what the exact cause is, you need to consult your gynaecologist. She will examine and treat you accordingly.
I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions. Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
